The Pageant winner represents for the upcoming year, so as we get ready to hold the Miss White Trash 2009 Pageant this month on the 20th of September, the winner will be the reigning Miss White Trash for the upcoming year.

This year's pageant was simply amazing other than the winner Miss Josephine Lara who works at a local downtown Portland Oregon barber shop forgot where she was to be on Sunday the 21st to be awarded the title, trophy and prizes. The pageant was spectacular, the winner by 10 points didn't make it to the location the next day. The runner up Miss Maggie Sue was there with bells on. The pageant committee at that time awarded the title, trophy and prizes to the runner up and she became the official Miss White Trash 2009. " I really don't want the camper" and we decided to sell the grand prize off and donate the proceeds to a local Portland charity Ethos' at the time of the sale. Finally speaking with Josephine on Monday and explaining that by not showing up, the title and all the prizes were awarded to the runner up. She went on to say " That bitch doesn't deserve to win, fuck her". We always knew are esteemed panels of judges were good, but they picked a real winner this year. Our best to Josephine. Founded in 1999 in Portland, Oregon, the annual Miss White Trash Pageant celebrates women who proudly represent the large and looming underbelly of middle Americana. The pageant draws contestants from all walks of life to compete for the coveted title of Miss White Trash. During an evening of music and mayhem, contestants are judged by a panel of judges in various categories including; Makeup, Hair, Outfit, Talent and Overall Trashiness before a winner is named to reign as Miss White Trash for the following year. Contestants were from California, Oregon and Washington for the Miss White Trash 2008 Pageant. Each year the pageant grows and has become one word - Trashtastic

This year's Miss White Trash 2009 won a1972 Dodge Tradesman 300 Class C Camper fully loaded, A Rand McNally Road Atlas, A CB Radio, the Miss White Trash Trophy, Beauty Supplies, Fabulous Lingerie & Adult Gifts from Cathie's, Meat Products, Portland 88 Vodka and a whole bunch of other great prizes.
