Founded in 1999 in Portland, Oregon, the annual Miss White Trash Pageant celebrates women who proudly represent the large and looming underbelly of middle Americana. The pageant draws contestants from all walks of life to compete for the coveted title of Miss White Trash. During an evening of music and mayhem, contestants are judged by a panel of judges in various categories including; Makeup, Hair, Outfit, Talent and Overall Trashiness before a winner is named to reign as Miss White Trash for the following year. Contestants were from California, Oregon and Washington for the Miss White Trash 2008 Pageant. Each year the pageant grows and has become one word - Trashtastic
